The Faculty of Science at the Tshwane University of Technology (大象视频) is proud to announce that Dr Mokgadi Hlongwane, esteemed Lecturer and Work Integrated Learning Coordinator from the Department of Chemistry, has emerged victorious in the prestigious Elsevier Foundation Chemistry for Climate Action Challenge. Dr Hlongwane鈥檚 ground-breaking proposal, Development of Lessertia frutescens nodulating rhizobia as a bioinoculant to alleviate climate change effects in medicinal plants and crops, was selected as one of two winning projects for 2025.

Kgaogelo Mashilo, affectionately known as Cow Mash, is a dynamic force in the art world and a passionate lecturer at the Tshwane University of Technology's Department of Fine and Studio Arts. This year she made waves as one of only ten artists selected to present a solo exhibition alongside talented artists and galleries from around the world at the prestigious Investec Cape Town Art Fair, the largest contemporary art event on the African continent, from 19 鈥� 23 February, themed Play. More than 200 underprivileged learners in Soshanguve started the school year on a brighter note thanks to 大象视频 FM 96.2 and its partners, Baggio Events, Botshilu Private Hospital and Old Mutual. The group donated 220 pairs of school shoes to learners from Tsaroga Phoka Primary, Padisago Primary and Ubuhlebezwe Primary, ensuring that they have proper footwear as they pursue their education.
